This game saw Firs playing how we know they can with style, discipline and passion. The winning post was in sight and poor Brewood were on the receiving end. Firs first goal came through a superb header from Andy Lane (Billy Elliott), and after that it was one way traffic. Darren Evans getting the second with one of his clinical finishes and Mick McGinn through a good low volley got the third. Brewood battled on with no answers as Firs had got the bit between their teeth and weren’t letting go! Darren Evans gets his second and Bryn Jones makes it five with his first. Mick McGinn gets his second to make it 6-0 by half time.
The second half expectation was not to be but goals through Bryn Jones and Andy Lane brought the final score Firs 8, Brewood 0 and with the Division Six Title!
